The Castle built in the late twenties, in Neo-Gothic style, is located in the Monferrato area, in Piedmont, one of the most famous zone in Italy for the production of excellent wines. It's at the center of the triangle Milan (80 kms), Turin (km.70) and Genoa (km.110), large towns with International airports and It is close to France and to Switzerland,to the sea, lakes and mountains. Designed by Arch. Carrera, the Castle is surrounded by a crenellate walls and It has ,as foundation, the ancient circular icebox of Balzola, visible on the ground floor. It has a wonderful little chapel, inlaid doors, stained glass windows, walls covered with silk and pictorial decorations, chandeliers in Murano glass and forget iron, parquet floors, stone, mosaic, all of a very high artistic value. Every thing has been studied in detail by the best italian architects. The Castle is 30 meters high and eight floors.The interior area is more than 600 square meters. The external and internal staircases,the balconies and the terraces, the outdoor night lighting and the old roof garden are of rare beauty. In the last five years the manor has been in constant restoration and the ground floor is now used as a location for ceremonies and events.
